According to a report from the United Nations, between the periods of 1998 to 2000, South-Africa was ranked first for rape per capita. According to community information 1 in every 4 women, out of 4000 interviewed, has been raped.
Our politicians continually try to find better and more improved ways for women to be able to protect themselves. Of course, it’s easy to dream up legislation from a nice, cosy office. At Pro Gun, we know that reality demands only one thing for the self-protection of women; firearms.

Violence against women in SA is reaching epidemic proportions. At Pro Gun, we say that there’s no reason why women shouldn’t learn how to effectively use firearms. With adequate training and know-how, a woman can stop being a victim and empower herself by becoming a gun owner.
As both have their strengths, women are physically weaker than men and thus require better aids for protection.
